This training focuses on the mental health effects of prolonged technology use, including social media, smartphones, and digital communication, which have been linked to increased rates of depression and anxiety. Participants will explore the unique challenges posed by these issues and learn strategies to help clients manage technology-induced stress.
Objectives:
Examine the link between technology use and mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.
Understand the cognitive and emotional impacts of digital overload on clients of various age groups.
Learn techniques to assess and address technology-induced depression and anxiety in clinical practice.
Develop counseling strategies to help clients reduce their reliance on technology and improve emotional well-being.
